Extend the winter season a bit longer. A wish of passionate skiers is fulfilled in Zell am See-Kaprun. As the highest and only glacier ski area in Salzburg, the Kitzsteinhorn has been attracting enthusiastic winter sports passionate for many decades. And in addition to magnificent views and maximum driving pleasure on natural snow, the glacier guarantees absolute snow security from October to spring.
The slopes of the Kitzsteinhorn are located up to 2,900 metres in altitude. And beside the classic slopes, there are rustic huts, the summit world 3000, Snowpark & Co. Offers that make skier’s hearts beat faster.
None of this is news. What is happening for the first time this winter, however, is the possibility to be transported directly to the Kitzsteinhorn from the Kaprun town centre via the Maiskogel family mountain.
